Trust & Safety
How are caregivers screened?
Every caregiver submits a government-issued ID, NBI clearance, training certificates, and two character references. Our team verifies identity, checks documents, and contacts references before any caregiver can take bookings
Are nurses licensed?
Yes. Every nurse on Care Panda must hold a valid PRC license. We verify the license number directly before approval and re-check at renewal.
Do you verify identities?
Yes. We match the government ID to the person, confirm the document is valid, and tie the verified identity to the in-app profile families see when booking.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Families can flag concerns directly in the app or by calling our team. We respond quickly, document the incident, and take action — from coaching to removing a caregiver from the platform when warranted.
Are bookings insured?
Not yet. Care Panda currently focuses on caregiver verification, document screening, identity checks, and trust & safety measures. We are actively exploring insurance and booking protection options as we expand our services.
Booking
How does booking work?
Open the Care Panda app, share the care you need and the schedule, browse matched caregiver and nurse profiles, then confirm a shift. Payment is held securely and released after care is completed.
Can I choose my caregiver?
Yes. You can review profiles, credentials, and reviews and pick the caregiver or nurse you feel most comfortable with.
Can I request the same caregiver again?
Yes. You can favorite caregivers and request them directly for future shifts, subject to their availability.
What if I need to cancel?
Cancellations made more than 12 hours before the shift are free. Last-minute cancellations may incur a small fee to fairly compensate the caregiver who reserved the time.
Pricing
How much does care cost?
Care providers on Care Panda set their own rates based on their experience, credentials, and the type of care needed. You’ll see the rate clearly before booking — no surprises.
Are there minimum hours?
Most shifts have a small minimum (commonly 4 hours) so caregivers are fairly paid for travel and prep time. Specific minimums are shown on each provider’s profile.
How do payments work?
Payments are held securely when you book and released to the caregiver only after the shift is completed and confirmed. We accept major Philippine payment methods including cards, GCash, and Maya.
Caregivers
How do I apply?
Visit the Join Our Team page and submit your application along with your government ID, NBI clearance, references, and (for nurses) your PRC license. Our team reviews within 3 business days.
When do I get paid?
Payouts are released after each completed shift via bank transfer or e-wallet (GCash or Maya). We aim to pay out within 1–2 business days of shift confirmation.
Is there a fee to join?
No. Joining Care Panda is free. We take a transparent platform fee from each booking — never from your base rate.
Can I choose my own schedule?
Yes. You set your availability and only accept bookings that fit your schedule.
